Next Steps? For the seagull, the first step was getting the starfish in it’s mouth. The next step I think was to swallow it but I got the distinct impression that the seagull had not thought that step out very well.
For whomever took the first step to go out in low tide the other day and pull out the shopping cart that had been sitting in the ocean for three years and put it on the walkway, it would be interesting to know what they were considering for the next step (pick it up later and dispose of it; leave it as a symbol of “trash in the ocean, or …”; leave it for someone else to take the next step).
