We took the Hullo pedestrian ferry over to Vancouver yesterday (senior’s discount) and went to the Museum of Anthropology and museum of biodiversity at UBC. We had lunch at one of the university venues with students who were less than half the age of our children (it no longer seems to make sense to say “less than half our age”). On the way back we stopped for a hot chocolate (tea for Julie) in Kitsilano and then wandered around some more, stopping for another snack before heading home (when you have small children – snacks are important and when you are old, snacks are just as important – it’s just different snacks – a glass of wine and some calamari).
