On Tuesday we went to the Cours Saleya Market which is 3 blocks of mostly vegetable stalls. Later in the day, the area is taken over by restaurants; the space is filled with tables and chairs and soon becomes filled with people. Close by is the Museum of Photography which was showing an underwater photographer with some interesting photos of penguins diving underwater etc. We also tried to sit in on a movie in french in which the 3 divers live in a capsule most of the time to avoid the time to decompress as they go in and out of the water. The capsule is held down by large weights and lowered through a hole in a barge driven around by a tug. Those dives were taking place in the Mediterranean. I was only picking up about 30% of the French so we eventually gave up on the Movie.
Some photos below also include the interior of the Cathedrale Sainte-Reparate in the old part of Nice. We had gone there the day before but was closed.
