On Thursday we went to one of the fancy Nice shopping centres in a section of Nice called Le Coeur de Nice. We then sat and had a coffee while we watched protesters going by. Later we went to an organ concert in a protestant church.
According to the sign outside the Cathedral Sainte-Raparate there was supposed to be a choir practice at 6 pm that anyone could go to. We had seen the sign the day before and it was still there when we arrived just before 6 pm to watch them move the sign into the church, turn the lights out and close the doors. We didn’t hear any choir practice but we sat in the church square and had a beer while imagining what it might have sounded like. Then of course we took a stroll home on the Promenade des Anglais.
