We didn’t spend a lot of time on the Dingle Peninsula. Dingle itself is a small town with a lot of tourists – too many for my taste. However, Devan (shown with his mother Karen in the first picture below) came across a lesser known place called Eask Tower. It’s on a sheep farm on the other side of the harbour from Dingle and has probably the best views of all the places we went. You can locate it using Google Maps. You pay 2 Euros to the farmer to access the farm and the farmer is nice enough to provide a water hose and brush to clean off the sheep shit when you come back.
The last picture is the only one of the following that was not taken from the Eask Tower – taken elsewhere on the Dingle Peninsula.
