This past Thursday we went to the Teotihuacan pyramids just outside Mexico City. This woman explained how the Teotihuacan people used a cactus to make paper, soap and for sewing (the point of cactus is extremely sharp). Then she want on to talk about obsidian – it’s various uses – and gave Julie a massage in the process.
