Day Trip with Julie – Ice Cream etc.

Ice cream and wine – don’t go together. After lunch we went to Cowichan Bay for an ice cream, stopping at the estuary. It was windy and the only birds we saw were a couple of swans (weren’t sure if they were swans or geese but checked with Chris S-J). Then we stopped by a couple of wineries to just get a couple of vine-sky shots and see what the wineries were like – Rocky Creek and Blue Grouse (never been there before). We didn’t stop for a wine tasting – too hot and not that interested after the ice cream.
