The first photo shows a bald eagle heading for a mallard duck in the lower right corner. Above the eagle is a seagull harassing the eagle and trying to divert it. The bald eagle took a number of passes with seagulls chasing after it. The injured mallard made it to shore but died when it got there. The bald eagle went up into a tree – waiting for a second bald eagle to help divert the seagulls and eventually took off with the mallard. The one shot showing 7 bald eagles is just a sequence shot of one eagle.
