Another interesting example of a name change is a small island near the tip of Denman Island off the coast of Vancouver Island. I think it was called Tree Island. The new aboriginal name has a number 7 in it. Again, I think the name change is great but I don’t know how to pronounce the new name. I have it on my todo list to find out.
