The last time we were here, we took a tour of the Vatican. This time friends Ginny & Stephen had recommended going to Villa Borghese. We looked up the tickets which were about $24 Canadian equivalent. However no tickets were available for the days we were here and secondary sellers were charging $400 for the same tickets so we decided to just wander around instead.
The first day we went to the market at Campo de’ Fiori and then to Piazza Navona. On the way home we stopped and had lunch at Antica Osteria Rugantino in Trastevere. We shared a chicken dish with a wonderful tomato sauce and a salad.
