One of the highlights of our stay in Cinque Terre has been the rental place owned by Rosanna and Salvatore. There are very few rental places where the hosts are engaged with you and where they have literally thought of everything. The place is very compact but functional. There is enough closet space, enough drawers – enough of everything. Yes there are scissors (3 pairs), yes there is a lettuce spinner etc. etc.
A self-contained unit, it is built into the rock with the rock-face open in some places and plastered over in others.
The terrace outside is on the edge of a cliff overlooking the mediterranean. You can sit on the terrace and listen to the waves crashing against the rocks below and watch the sun go down. It’s hard to beat.
